Matrimony consecrates a baptized man and a baptized woman to love each other and to become a living sign of Christ’s love for the Church. They become a sign, or sacrament, of God’s ever-present invitation to all people to share in the life and love of God.
To schedule a wedding at one of the Peace of Christ Parish churches, you need to schedule an appointment with the priest that you would like to celebrate your wedding. Therefore, please contact

After you have met with the Priest you want to preside at your wedding, the parish Wedding Coordinator, ?subject=Marriage%20Inquiry">Sheila Tumminelli 585-288-5000 ext. 107 will contact you to schedule an appointment to walk through the process for a wedding in the Catholic Church.
You will then be scheduled to meet with a married couple in the parish to complete the Fully Engaged Process.
Brides and Grooms-to-be are responsible for completing Pre-Cana on their own. At this time, the Diocese of Rochester is offering On-line PreCana only. This can be completed anytime during your engagement.
Fully Engaged and PreCana are both required.
