Family Faith Formation/ Youth Ministry Advisory

Purpose

1. The purpose for the team is to help develop a guiding mission and structure which will support the goals of both Family Faith Formation and Youth Ministry.

2. Goals:
     a. Empowerment:  To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today
     b. Participation:  To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community
     c. Growth:  To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person

3. To offer programming in all four ministry settings:
     a. Youth
     b. Family
     c. Parish
     d. Wider Community
