Overview of Senior High Youth Group Program

Our Senior High Youth Group Program integrates the ideals of the U.S.C.C.B.'s framework for a comprehensive Youth Ministry: Renewing the Vision and is supported by two primary texts: The Catholic Faith Handbook for Teens and the Breakthrough Bible, both by St. Mary's Press.

Additionally, youth explore the YOUCAT to find answers to their questions about their lives and our faith. Initiated by St. Pope John Paul II, as he had such love and concern for our youth, the USCCB created this catechism specifically for adoelscents and young adults. YOUCAT is short for Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church, and was launched on World Youth Day, 2011. Developed with the help of young Catholics and written for high-school age people and young adults, YOUCAT is an accessible, contemporary expression of the Catholic Faith.
