Volunteers Needed

Help Wanted- someone to pick up the Holy Cow donations at either St. Ambrose or St. James every third Sunday of the month. Pick up donations and deliver to ESWA on Bay St . Pay—God will remember this! Call John Driscoll @ 288-6165 or Pete Chesterton @ 482-1955.

There are many opportunities to participate in our Habitat for Humanity Project, which generally involve a day starting at 9:00AM and concluding at 4:00PM with morning, lunch and afternoon breaks. No one is asked to do more than they want to do and it is a wonderful time to build new friendships. Please contact Pat Callahan (482-7352) or Pete Chesterton (482-1955) for more information about volunteering.

Attention adults, teens and families! For the sixth year in a row, the POC Parish Neighborhood Committee will be helping the North Winton Village Association (NWVA) in caring for a number of flower planters along Winton Road, Main Street East, Humboldt Street, and Atlantic Avenue. North Winton Village Association has over 100 planters and many small gardens established. We have been invited to adopt about 30 flower planters that are looking for true friends who would care for them throughout the hot summer. These planters need to be planted about June 1st and require watering 2-4 times a week, depending on the weather, through October. You can sign up for either planting or watering or both. You can adopt planters as an individual or as a team. Everyone is welcome - no one is turned away! This is a great opportunity as a community service project. Please call Bob Genthner at 482-2441. Thank you for your neighborhood support!
